Navajo Power Home
Where all families have power

CGI x Navajo Project

Navajo Power Home was established with the vision to bring power to all Navajo homes that are searching for a high-quality, consistent electricity service. Navajo Power Home is a collaboration between Navajo Power, a utility-scale solar developer, and iluméxico, a solar service provider for off-grid households in Mexico and Colombia.

CarbonClear’s new model for carbon credit issuance is a tech-powered carbon value chain, leveraging clear and transparent data points in the CO₂ projects it funds, enabling fast, reliable and cost-effective generation of third-party verified carbon credits. This real-time solution aims to transform the market, provide transparent and trackable progress and connect funds with solutions.

Our most recent and exciting collaboration is with Navajo Power Home, a collaboration between solar developer Navajo Power and ilumexico, a solar service provider for off-grid households in Mexico and Colombia. It was first developed with a vision to provide high-quality electricity services.

During the Clinton Global Initiative, CarbonClear and Navajo Power Home have issued a limited number of CO₂ certificates, which provide access to a sample of carbon credits.

The envelope you have been given also contains a certificate of  issuance and retirement of 1 tCO2e from this collaboration project. By scanning the certificate you will see the origin and timestamp of the credit.  Allowing you to appreciator the granularity that this solution offers.
